I don't mean cleaning your house, though I'm sure it's on our list...
Without sounding too much like a salesman, I find myself needing to promote the skin care lines we carry because I believe in their philosophy and the products are pretty fantastic! The products are made of organic, natural ingredients for all over body care. They smell wonderful, feel amazing and are handmade by individuals who care for the environment, ingredient content and you.
I've made it a point to try the lines...Chivas, Herban and Soaptart...there is something from each company that I love...I'm a customer for life.
Easter is coming...come in and try something new!

Our monthly featured artist began when we opened this February. The plan is to host a new artist every month giving them exposure and giving us something wonderful to look at and buy.
The artist for February is Cheryl Duboucheron. Her oil paintings will be showcased through this week, coming down on Sunday the 28th...it's not to be missed, her work is really beautiful.
To give you some background on this talented artist ~
Cheryl Duboucheron studied art at Otis Art Institute. She has been creating art for over thirty years doing mostly drawings, collages and sculptures. Seven years ago she started oil painting. Her favorite subject is the human face which expresses such diversity of expressions and emotions.
An other of her interest is flower painting, flowers showing a wide variety of shapes and colors.
The shape of Georgia O'Keeffe, Mary Cassett uses of intimate drama, the powerful emotions by Kathe Kollwitz and the rich impasto of Van Gogh and Wayne Thiebaud, among other artist works, are teh things that influence her work.
She is married and lives in Pasadena. She has two sons with wives and four adult step children with grandchildren.

The sign went up...then the sign came down! Thanks Jim for helping us out...such a great supporter and friend. Even though we had to take it down for reasons to long to write about...we have the sign and it looks great! It will soon be up again...a small glitch...

Paper, lot's of paper! I love paper goods, especially cards and journals. We have come across some amazing card vendors and are even more fortunate to carry them in our store. These are one of a kind, hand printed cards and journals...so sweet! Please come in and see for yourself, or check out their website.
...3 Good Things
We have our SIGN!
Thanks to Robert Prins we have our glorious sign! I absolutely love it...it depicts what we are all about!!! He is so talented...he made our double sided sign from old recycled wood. Thanks to Jim Lace, our vendor who makes bird houses out of recycled wood for giving us the wood ~ can't wait for Jim Gohrick to hang it!
